Using basic clay techniques and references to the natural world, students will explore facial expressions, nonverbal communication, and dialogue via the eyes, body, and form of their creatures. By exploring these expressions with their hands students will have the chance to develop a new relationship with the world around them. This is a handbuilding class and does not involve the wheel.
